Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves ensuring the efficient operation of production machines and facility equipment through installation, troubleshooting, and repair efforts. The technician will play a critical role in minimizing downtime and maintaining the smooth functioning of our manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

+ Install, troubleshoot, and repair production machines and facility equipment.

+ Conduct emergency and scheduled maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime.

+ Perform mechanical duties including machining, welding, and using hand/power tools.

+ Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders for maintenance tasks.

+ Diagnose issues, replace parts, and make adjustments to ensure equipment efficiency.

+ Perform preventive maintenance on machines and plant facilities.

+ Maintain plumbing and carpentry systems as needed.

+ Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean work areas.

+ Coordinate with external technicians for complex repairs.

+ Document maintenance activities and communicate with supervisors on equipment status.

Work Environment

Work in a GMP environment requiring the use of hair nets, beard nets, and non-slip safety shoes. This position operates on a 3rd shift, Monday to Friday, from 9:00pm to 6:30am. Overtime includes working 10-hour days from Monday to Friday and one Saturday a month for a full 10-hour day.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Janesville, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
