    Job Title: CNC Machinist

    Job Description

    We are seeking a motivated individual to learn and operate up to six automated CNC machines used to sharpen carbide saw blades. This position plays a critical role in maintaining quality, productivity, and safety in our manufacturing process.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate and monitor CNC machines to sharpen carbide saw blades according to print specifications.

    + Inspect blades during and after processing to ensure they meet quality standards.

    + Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, greasing, and replacing cutting wheels.

    + Maintain smooth workflow by ensuring proper material flow through the production area.

    + Accurately complete all required production and quality control documentation.

    + Communicate material shortages to appropriate team members promptly.

    + Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 6S and housekeeping standards.

    + Follow all safety procedures and uphold company policies and ethical standards.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to operate and monitor automated CNC machines.

    + Understanding of general machinery and production processes.

    + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

    + Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools for quality control.

    + Strong focus on producing high-quality work and inspecting parts to meet specifications.

    + Mechanical Aptitude: Strong understanding of general machinery and production processes.

    + Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

    + Measurement Proficiency: Capable of using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.

    + Quick Learner: Ability to quickly understand and retain complex machine setup procedures.

    + Attention to Detail: Committed to producing high-quality work with minimal supervision.

    + Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication with team members and supervisors.

    + Time Management: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

    + Ethical Conduct: Adheres to company policies and maintains a strong sense of integrity and professionalism.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $47840.00/yr.
