**Location:** Cedar Rapids, Iowa

**Pay Range:** $22–$24/hour

**Travel:** This is an overnight travel position. On average travel 150 nights per year. You will receive company paid hotels and meal per diem while traveling.

**Schedule:** Full-time, with on-call availability for emergency response

About the Role

This position supports national disaster recovery efforts,specializing in commodity salvage, emergency cleanup, and industrial site

restoration. The team responds to grain elevator explosions, bin fires, train derailments, and food recalls—helping clients recover quickly and safely.

Job Summary

As a Site Laborer, you’ll be part of a hands-on crew that travels to disaster sites across the country to assist in cleanup, salvage, and

restoration efforts. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, physically demanding environments and want to make a real impact in the agricultural and industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

+ Assist with grain salvage operations, including loading, unloading, and transferring commodities

+ Operate specialized equipment for cleanup and recovery (training provided)

+ Perform manual labor tasks such as shoveling, sweeping, and debris removal

+ Support emergency response efforts at disaster sites

+ Maintain safety standards and follow company protocols

+ Travel to job sites as needed (overnight travel may be required)

Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions

+ Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

+ Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude

+ Prior experience in agriculture, construction, or industrial labor is a plus

+ CDL or heavy equipment experience is a bonus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
