Job Title: Shop Help

Job Description

Join our team in fabricating high-end emission control and silencer exhaust systems for heavy equipment OEMs. As a Shop Helper, you will be engaged in spray painting metal components and preparing them for shipment. This role involves physical activity and requires a proactive approach to various tasks in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

+ Spray painting metal components and preparing them for shipment.

+ Making pallets and packaging products for shipment.

+ Using a nail gun and preparing products for shipping.

+ Operating a forklift and being familiar with its use.

+ Operating machines, grinding, cutting insulation, and finishing parts when the primary work area is not busy.

+ Packing up orders and ensuring they are ready for shipment.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with fabrication, forklift operation, and power tools.

+ Ability to read and understand blueprints.

+ Proficient in the use of hand tools and general shop duties.

+ Experience with machine operation and material handling.

+ Skillful in using a tape measure accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in working on manufacturing machines, preferably saws.

+ Familiarity with palletizing and packing operations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
