    Job Title: Assembler

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team as an Assembler, where you will have the opportunity to contribute to the manufacturing of ammunition for the military. In this role, you will be working on an automated assembly line, performing hand assembly of small parts. Your ability to rotate between stations and learn multiple departments will be highly valued.

    Responsibilities

    + Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) instructions to perform job responsibilities.

    + Perform hand assembly of small piece parts on an automated assembly line.

    + Utilize fixtures and/or automated equipment for assembly tasks.

    + Rotate between stations to enhance efficiency and reduce repetition.

    + Operate machines and assist in packing when necessary.

    Essential Skills

    + General labor and assembly skills.

    + Good hand/eye coordination to work with extremely small parts.

    + Ability to lift up to 30lbs occasionally.

    + Experience with hand tools, blueprints, packaging, and power tools.

    + Mechanical assembly and machine operation proficiency.

    + Skills in picking, packing, and production line tasks.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Open to any type of previous experience as training will be provided.

    + Consistency in showing up for work is essential.

    + Ability to perform repetitive tasks with small parts while sitting for most of the day.

    Work Environment

     

    Work hours are structured into two shifts: 1st shift from 6am-4pm (Mon-Thur) and 2nd shift from 4pm-2am (Mon-Thur) with a $1.50 shift premium. Overtime is rare and typically occurs on Fridays. The facility is climate-controlled, offering a comfortable work environment.

    This is a position based out of Janesville, Wisconsin.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50/hr.
