    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly and testing of control panels and must have a thorough understanding of common control devices such as relay logic, timers, push buttons, and switches. The role involves the use of various hand tools and power tools, including electric jig saws, band saws, drills, tap guns, and hydraulic/pneumatic hole punches. The technician will work with blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and process sheets and should have knowledge of products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner, while maintaining a workplace of dignity and respect for all.

     

    **Shift:** 7:00am - 3:30 Monday-Friday

    **Pay:** 17- 22/hr

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble and test electrical control panels.

    + Understand and apply the functions of control devices like relay logic, timers, and switches.

    + Operate various hand tools and power tools safely.

    + Interpret and work with blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

    + Collaborate effectively as a team member.

    + Report for work punctually and prepared for assigned duties.

    + Comply with EEO guidelines and principles.

    + Perform additional duties as necessary to achieve departmental objectives.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and schematic interpretation.

    + Experience in wiring and blueprint reading.

    + Capability to assemble and test electrical control panels.

    + Skill in crimping and/or soldering wiring harnesses and cables.

    + Knowledge of control device functions.

    + Ability to read electronic schematics and wiring diagrams.

    + Competence in operating tools safely.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to accept responsibility and complete projects timely.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment may occasionally expose the employee to moving mechanical parts, electrical shock, fumes, airborne particles, and vibration. The employee may also experience cold, hot, or humid conditions. When visiting customer sites, additional personal safety equipment such as hard hats, hearing protection, and respiratory protection may be required.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lynn Haven, Florida.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.08/hr.
