Job Title: Fabricator/Assembler

Job Description

A local manufacturer in Indianapolis is seeking a dedicated Fabricator/Assembler to join their team on the 1st shift.

Responsibilities

+ Utilize a computer to track production orders.

+ Measure and mark steel for machine operations.

+ Read and interpret production documents.

+ Operate drill presses and saws efficiently.

+ Perform mechanical assembly using hand and power tools.

+ Ensure cleanliness and organization of the work area.

Essential Skills

+ Proficient use of hand tools and power tools.

+ Ability to read blueprints.

+ Experience with tape measure, machine operation, drill press, and saw operation.

+ Mechanical assembly and fabrication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in grinding and fabrication processes.

+ Strong mechanical aptitude.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
