• Paralegal (Hybrid - San Fernando Valley)

    Description

    A well-established law firm in the San Fernando Valley is seeking a skilled Paralegal to join their team on a contract-to-hire or long-term contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional to support attorneys managing civil litigation or transactional matters while working in a collaborative environment.

     

    The firm handles a variety of matters including civil litigation, personal injury, consumer law, and transactional matters, depending on team placement. The role offers hybrid flexibility (2–3 days onsite in the Valley, remainder remote).

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Draft and prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and correspondence.

    + Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including exhibits, witness coordination, and calendaring deadlines.

    + Maintain organized case files and track key litigation or transactional deadlines.

    + Conduct legal research and investigation as needed.

    + Coordinate communications between attorneys, clients, and opposing counsel.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + 3+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in civil litigation or transactional matters.

    + Familiarity with California court rules and procedures.

    + Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and case management software.

    + Paralegal Certificate preferred (or equivalent experience).
