Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician specializing in PLC and Electronics, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment. You will inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair various systems, contributing to the efficiency and safety of our operations.
Responsibilities
+ Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and install machinery and equipment.
+ Monitor equipment to detect malfunctions and discuss variations with team members to diagnose and repair issues.
+ Install, repair, or replace electrical devices including transformers, relays, circuit breakers, starters, and switches.
+ Layout, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
+ Install, program, and troubleshoot automated machinery and Programmable Logic Controllers.
+ Install, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
+ Service and repair material handling equipment.
+ Monitor main electrical panel and troubleshoot as necessary.
+ Repair and maintain boilers, water heaters, water conditioning equipment, and all water distribution systems.
+ Follow established preventative maintenance guidelines and coordinate with other departments to schedule machine maintenance.
+ Maintain building through painting, repairing minor structural problems, and other necessary repairs.
+ Ensure compliance with safety and government guidelines, identifying and resolving safety issues.
+ Assist in project control and scheduling, monitor inventory, and provide recommendations on energy usage.
Essential Skills
+ HVAC and PLC troubleshooting skills.
+ Experience in electrical and industrial maintenance.
+ Proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical repair, and troubleshooting.
+ Ability to perform preventive maintenance and interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
+ High school diploma, technical school training, or equivalent experience.
+ Basic computer skills for word processing and spreadsheets.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to present information effectively.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ EPA Refrigeration Certification (Type II or equivalent).
+ Experience with 3-phase systems and conveyor systems.
+ Licensed journeyman of a skilled trade is a plus.

Work Environment
The work environment includes frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and occasional exposure to wet or humid conditions, extreme temperatures, and potential electrical risks. The noise level can vary from moderate to high, requiring a strong safety awareness.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $33.00/hr.
