Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Clerk who will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement and handling of goods within our organization. The ideal candidate will manage inventory, oversee shipping and receiving tasks, and collaborate with team members to maintain seamless operations.

Responsibilities

+ Perform general labor and production tasks related to shipping and receiving.

+ Manage inventory control, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation.

+ Operate forklifts and other equipment for the movement and inspection of goods.

+ Utilize ERP systems, including SAP, to maintain records and streamline operations.

+ Ensure all shipping and receiving processes are conducted in compliance with company standards.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in inventory control and warehouse management.

+ Experience with shipping and receiving procedures.

+ Familiarity with ERP systems and SAP.

+ Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Prior experience in a similar role within a production environment.

+ Strong inspection skills to ensure quality control.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stratford, Connecticut.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.35 - $20.00/hr.
