Job Title: CNC Machine Operator - $21/hr-$24/hr

MOrning shift- 6am- 4.30pm

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator capable of setting up, operating, and performing changeovers on CNC machines. The primary focus will be on operating milling machines, including brands such as Fidal, Blue Star, and Haas. The role requires basic math skills to calculate dimensions and interpret blueprints and drawings.

Responsibilities

+ Setup and operate CNC milling machines.

+ Perform changeovers and troubleshoot breakdowns.

+ Use measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers.

+ Interpret blueprints and drawings accurately.

Essential Skills

+ 3+ years of CNC Machine Operating experience preferred.

+ Basic math skills for dimension calculations.

+ Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings.

+ Strong attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High school diploma or GED preferred.

+ No formal education required.

+ Proper PPE required (Steel toes, safety glasses, long sleeve shirt, and Metatarsals will be provided).

Work Environment

This is a metal fabrication environment at a full-service steel fabricating operation. It provides oxy fuel, plasma, laser, and band saw cutting services, and can cut and fabricate steel from 17 gauge to 4.5-inch thickness. The environment is loud and can be dirty, with temperature variations from hot in the summer to cold in the winter. Employees must be willing to work overtime if needed. Shifts include 1st shift from 6am to 2:30pm with some Saturday work required, and 3rd shift from 9:30pm to 6am, Sunday through Thursday, with some Fridays expected.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
