    Now Hiring: Medical Device Manufacturing ASSEMBLERS

    •** **Job Description

     

    Join our innovative team in the manufacturing of medical devices, specifically in catheter assembly, where precision and quality are paramount. You will be working in a cleanroom environment, under a microscope, to ensure the highest standards of product integrity and safety.

    Responsibilities

    + Follow and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, Line Clearance, Work Instructions, assembly methods, product handling methods, production drawings, Good Documentation Practices, current Good Manufacturing Practices, and Safety requirements.

    + Successfully complete training on production tasks, including understanding travelers/routers, identifying materials, using a microscope, and employing production/inspection tools and equipment needed for product builds.

    + Operate tools and equipment, and complete necessary documentation.

    + Perform equipment set-up, operation, and in-process inspection to accomplish assigned tasks.

    + Work directly with Engineers and Supervisors to ensure product integrity and quality are maintained.

    + Collaborate with Engineers to develop process documentation.

    + Conduct inventory counts.

    + Receive verbal instructions regarding duties and perform other assigned tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in medical device assembly and production or small electronics.

    + Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment, or prototyping experience.

    + Prior experience in catheter product manufacturing is a plus.

    + Experience with microscopes and medical assembly.

    + Cleanroom experience.

    + Understanding and performing in-process inspection to assure workmanship and quality of in-process medical devices.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with microscope assembly, catheter assembly, and inspection.

    + Proficiency in communication skills and SOP adherence.

    + Familiarity with line clearance, working with adhesives (including different Loctite), EFD dispensers, and UV curing systems.

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $33.35/hr.
