Job Title: Mechanical Electrical Technician
Job Description
This role provides hands-on mechanical support for the operation, repair, and maintenance of all manufacturing equipment and systems. It is a key position responsible for troubleshooting, equipment installation, debugging, and commissioning in the manufacturing environment. The technician will serve as a technical resource for all manufacturing equipment.
Responsibilities
+ Read, follow, and interpret all types of electrical and piping schematics, as well as blueprints and illustrated parts breakdowns.
+ Develop layouts, cost estimates, and schedules for installations and the operation of new equipment, and repair existing plant equipment.
+ Update mechanical blueprints and lists as required to maintain, rebuild, install, or revise any equipment needed by the company.
+ Repair and rebuild at least six primary pieces of equipment throughout the plant.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School or GED degree required
+ Five years of mechanical manufacturing support experience in high-speed process/packaging equipment
+ Driver's license
+ Basic knowledge of electrical controls and PLCs
+ Proficiency in at least four of the following skills: welding, machining, pipe fitting, plumbing, metal fabrication, or HVAC
+ Experience with motors, fuses, heaters, limit switches, electric motor clutches, and brakes

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $62400.00/yr.
Annual Bonus Potential for all full time employees
5 vacation days and PTO/144 hours of Paid Holiday Time (12 days)
