    Job Title: Production Associate

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable Production Associate to join our team. This role involves handling metal automotive parts, ensuring their correct placement, and performing quality checks. This is a physically demanding position, requiring the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

    Responsibilities

    + Unload metal automotive parts into the machine and ensure proper clamping.

    + Perform quality checks on products and ensure they are placed in bins according to part numbers and labels.

    + Engage in part loading, with robots responsible for unloading and stacking.

    + Lift parts weighing between 20-45 lbs every 2-3 minutes.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to lift up to 40 lbs frequently.

    + Experience in physical work such as construction, farming, or landscaping.

    + Familiarity with assembler tasks, manufacturing processes, and machine operation.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in similar roles within a manufacturing environment is advantageous.

    + Proficiency in quality control and parts washing is beneficial.

    Work Environment

    The work environment is a busy, loud manufacturing setting where metal machining is performed. The facility is well-lit, and you will be required to lift parts from waist height and knee height. The work schedule includes three shifts: Days (8am-4pm), Afternoons (4pm-12pm), and Midnights (12pm-8am). Expect to work many Saturdays, with Sundays being rare but compensated with double time.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Port Huron, Michigan.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
