Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the operation of equipment and building maintenance activities. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth functioning of our manufacturing processes through effective supervision and hands-on technical expertise.
Responsibilities
+ Direct workers engaged in operation equipment and building maintenance activities.
+ Determine work priorities and schedule repairs, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment.
+ Troubleshoot and repair CNC lathes, mills, hobbing equipment, saws, etc., through both hands-on work and directing maintenance team activities.
+ Responsible for preventative maintenance schedules and ensuring timely completion to accommodate production needs.
+ Inspect completed work for conformance to requirements, specifications, and standards.
+ Adhere to LOTO procedures and ensure compliance.
+ Fabricate and implement tooling and fixturing.
+ Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies as needed.
+ Develop or revise standard operational and working practices and observe workers to ensure compliance.
+ Establish or adjust maintenance work procedures to meet production schedules.
+ Maintain time and production records.
+ Coordinate activities with other department supervisors.
+ Perform activities of workers supervised.
+ Work in a team-centered atmosphere; hire, coach, and develop new associates.
+ Initiate, coordinate, and ensure operational and personnel policies and procedures are followed.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Advanced multi-tasking and troubleshooting skills.
+ Knowledge of manufacturing technology products, CNC machining technology, assemblies, and facilities/building maintenance and equipment.
+ Knowledge of practices used in CNC and mechanical machine diagnostics and repair, as well as building, electrical, or mechanical trades.
+ Ability to read and understand diagrams, schematics, engineering prints, and manuals for mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
+ Basic fabrication techniques for machine repair.
+ Ability to use electrical test equipment to identify, analyze, and resolve electrical problems.
+ Strong hands-on knowledge of electrical, electronic, PLC controls, and computerized components of CNC and manual machines.
+ PLC troubleshooting and reading skills.
+ Welding and use of cutting torches.
+ Ability to perform light fabrication.
+ Ability to read ladder logic.
+ CNC programming and operation skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Five years of prior experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machines and equipment in a manufacturing environment.
+ Two-year associate degree in machine maintenance and repair or equivalent experience preferred.
+ Post-high school education/training in electronics.
+ 1+ credit in welding post-high school is a plus.
+ Formal training in fabrication post-high school is a plus.
+ Specific knowledge of Fanuc controls and Haas is desired.
+ Extensive electrical troubleshooting experience.
+ Certified electrician is a plus.
+ Prior work experience with paper machines, CNCs, printing presses, and/or other manufacturing processing machines is a plus.
+ Computer literacy.
+ Welding and operating certification is a plus.

Work Environment
This position operates during standard first shift hours from 7am to 3:30pm, with the expectation to assist with other shifts as needed.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Elkhorn, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
