    Description

    SAFETY TRAINER SUPERVISOR

    Responsibilities:

    + Train new employees, production, and maintenance at all levels in compliance programs

    + Keep detailed records of Safety documents and trainings

    + Perform regular safety walks throughout entire facility and conducting industrial hygiene duties

    + Assist Occupational Health in responses

    + Plan and coordinate Safety Committee Meetings

    + Comfortable presenting in front of large groups

    + Help perform job duties within Safety and Occupational Health department as needed

    + Assist in special projects as needed within department

    + Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    + Be able to communicate written and verbally in English

    + Be able to work all 3 shifts as needed

    + Some heavy lifting required

    + Able to work in both hot and cold temperatures

    + Strong communication and leadership

    + Mechanical maintenance background preferred

    + Strong computer knowledge

    + High School Diploma or equivalent

    + Prior supervisory experience preferred

    + Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

    + As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting, the amount of travel may vary and the most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate.
