Responsibilities

+ Lead and manage the daily activities of the sales and BDC teams to ensure sales targets and customer service standards are consistently met.

+ Recruit, train, and develop sales staff, fostering a high-performance culture through ongoing coaching and cross-training.

+ Oversee customer engagement strategies, ensuring sales personnel actively connect with prospects via phone, internet, and in-person interactions.

+ Implement and monitor a structured follow-up process, tracking success rates and optimizing lead assignment to maximize conversion.

+ Manage phone and internet traffic efficiently, ensuring timely responses and quality communication.

+ Track advertising sources and lead performance to inform marketing and sales strategies.

+ Prepare routine reports and correspondence; calculate commissions, percentages, and other performance metrics.

+ Perform other duties as assigned to support dealership operations and growth.

Qualifications

+ Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team toward achieving and exceeding objectives.

+ Minimum 2–3 years of dealership sales management experience, including internet/BDC operations.

+ Demonstrated success in customer satisfaction (CSI) and sales performance.

+ Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—with a focus on active listening and customer engagement.

+ Excellent time management and critical thinking abilities.

+ High attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency.

+ Proficient in Microsoft Word and general computer applications; data entry experience preferred.

+ High School Diploma or equivalent required; College Degree preferred.

+ Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record in state of residence.
