    A Snapshot of Your Day

     

    The Regional Sales Proposal Manager within the Siemens Energy Compression business is a key function within the broader sales organization, responsible for identifying the solution and driving the proposal development process. You will be responsible for achieving the regional sales targets and growth objective along with our high performing regional sales team while developing technical solutions, cost modelling, proposal development, & working with key stakeholders across the entire Siemens Energy global operations organization.

     

    This role will require close partnerships with our customer relationship teams and shall be the interface into the engineering, supply chain, operations, and global manufacturing product centres. You will create & develop advanced service offerings including Modernization & Upgrades, Repairs, Field Services, Parts, & Digitalization solutions across the entire compression portfolio. You will support the entire North & Latin America regional organization while also working in close collaboration with our global operations teams located in the Americas, Europe, Africa, Middle East, & Asia Pacific to deliver order entry growth & operational excellence.

     

    This role will report directly to the Global Head of Sales & Bid Management for a segment within the Siemens Energy compression business.

     

    We are looking for a highly experienced, self-motivated, dynamic, customer-focused leader that looks at shaping the Compression business for future generations!

    How You’ll Make an Impact

    + Lead bid and proposal development for complex oOEM projects related to centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, geared compressors, and gas engines, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and technical solutions.

    + Drive growth in oOEM service business across core markets, focusing on Modernization & Upgrades, Repairs, Field Services, Parts, Controls, Service Programs, and Digitalization.

    + Develop and articulate a unique value proposition while adhering to company growth and profit guidelines through strong business insight.

    + Build and maintain relationships with Siemens Energy stakeholders to create tailored solutions and enhance customer satisfaction through exceptional service.

    + Collaborate with management to implement a comprehensive sales strategy and participate in business growth initiatives as needed.

    + Conduct technical evaluations, develop clear proposals, and present data to customers, including performance details, execution logistics, and commercial terms.

    What You Bring

    + Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Chemical, or equivalent) with 5+ years of experience in technical sales, bid management, or business development in the oil & gas, power generation, or industrial services sectors, demonstrating a proven track record of success across diverse markets.

    + Strong knowledge and diverse background in compressors and industrial rotating equipment, with preferred experience at a major rotating equipment supplier.

    + Strategically oriented with detailed knowledge of centrifugal, reciprocating, and geared compressors, including an understanding of compressor performance and application principles.

    + Over 5 years of compressor engineering experience, including design, fabrication, assembly, testing, and servicing of API-617 compressors, along with system knowledge in lube & seal packages and process controls.

    + Proven ability to baseline compressors with minimal data and develop high-level solutions to engage clients, complemented by strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable presenting to senior leadership, with strong networking abilities; willing to travel up to 20% regionally and internationally; fluent in English, with additional languages as an advantage.

    Preferred Skills:

    + Proficient in Excel, Salesforce, Tableau, and other software tools.

    This role may be based in various locations across the United States. Siemens Energy offers a variety of health and wellness benefits, including paid time off and holiday pay. For positions based in the United States, the base salary range is $91,700 to $178,900 annually, and the annual incentive target is from 10 % to 15% of the base salary.

     

    Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.
