    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

    _Key Responsibilities_

    + _Overseeing processing of India payroll accurately and on time._

    + _Ensures compliance with_ Indian tax regulations for payroll, including TDS, PF, and statutory deductions.

    + _Handles Full and Final Settlements including_ _leave encashments, bonuses, gratuity, provident fund contributions, and deductions._

    + _Handles payroll-related inquiries and resolves issues promptly._

    + _Maintains and updates payroll records and employee information._

    + _Stay updated on regulatory changes._

    + _Collaborates with HR and finance teams to ensure data integrity and accuracy._

    + _Assists in payroll audits and provides necessary documentation._

    + _Demonstrates ownership for assigned processes and project tasks._

    + _Prioritizes work independently and delivers with timely and quality standards and limited supervision._

    + _Solves discrepancies, conducts audits and performs quality checks of assigned reporting and peer review quality checks._

    + _Takes initiative in reviewing and suggesting improvements of daily work, processes and procedures._

    + _Independently organizes and leads meetings._

    + _Collaborates with other HR teams and payroll service provider in identifying opportunities for streamlining and improving HR and Payroll processes._

    + Documents detailed payroll requirements for new project initiatives or process modifications.

    _Qualifications_

    + _Bachelor degree_

    + _Minimum of 5-7 years of India payroll processing_

    + Understands and apply Indian tax regulations for payroll, including TDS, PF, and other statutory deductions.

    + _Proficiency in Workday HR/Payroll systems and Microsoft Office Suite_

    + _Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills._

    + _Strong attention to detail and accuracy._

    + _Ability to work effectively in a team environment._

    + _Excellent communication and interpersonal skills._
