Summary of Role:

Develop C sharp software to implement tests on a commercial tester. Work with electrical engineers to write software programs that automate the electrical test on a commercial tester.

Essential Responsibilities:

Develop C sharp software to implement tests on a commercial tester. Work with electrical engineers to write software programs that automate the electrical test on a commercial tester. Program the commercial tester and use their code to control the instrumentation of the commercial tester. Obtain requirements from customers and electrical engineers to write code, debug the code and obtain verification of the tester results with electrical test engineers. Understand how to program the tester using C Sharp code, debug their code, compile their code and communicate with company’s engineering and the external customer on the accuracy of the test code.

Other Responsibilities:

+ Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.

Required Qualifications:

+ Education – Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a closely related field of study.

+ Experience – 1 year of post-baccalaureate experience in job offered, or any IT or Electrical Engineering related job titles. Requires 1 year of experience in:

(1) Writing and debugging low level code such as C++, C Sharp or Java

(2) Windows and Linux programming environment and commands

(3) Preparing technical requirements and software design specifications

(4) Communicating with Electrical Engineers on test requirements

(5) Understanding how to program test equipment

(6) Communicate with electrical engineers and customers on coding problems and test equipment.

Expected Salary Range

Salary range: $87,344 – $110,300
