We are seeking a talented Financial Analyst who will support the preparation of short-term forecasting and long-term planning processes, as well as analyze business performance and departmental spending. The role involves developing an understanding of the business to create relevant reporting for management decision-making, aiming to maximize profitable growth. The candidate will be actively involved in process improvements related to forecasting, planning, and finance systems and tools, driving processes to deliver business insights and partnering with leaders to enhance planning, forecasting, and analytical capabilities.
Responsibilities
+ Assist with the preparation of monthly forecasting, annual planning, multi-year planning, and plan/forecast variance analysis.
+ Identify, understand, and analyze key performance metrics and provide insights.
+ Develop and maintain partnerships with key business contacts to understand and identify key expense drivers, issues, and opportunities.
+ Communicate complex thoughts and ideas clearly and concisely.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand results and identify business risks and opportunities.
+ Compile data from multiple sources to develop performance reports and provide an understanding of operational and financial performance to management.
+ Make recommendations to management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge.
+ Coordinate efforts to troubleshoot process and tool issues, determine root causes, and recommend solutions.
+ Create monthly and quarterly reporting packages.
+ Support and participate in ad-hoc analysis.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in financial analysis within the manufacturing industry.
+ Proficiency in ERP software and variance analysis.
+ Knowledge of KPI, P&L analysis, and experience with complex budgets across multiple departments.
+ Direct Finance/FP&A experience.
+ Experience presenting financials to executives.
+ Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business with a preference for Finance.
+ Proficiency in Power BI and Hyperion Essbase.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with large publicly traded companies.
+ Experience working with industrial companies, with direct manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
+ Expertise in financial modeling.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
+ Ability to use query tools and databases.
+ Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
+ High sense of urgency and results-oriented.
+ Highly organized with attention to detail.
+ Ability to create complex financial models.
+ Adept at designing and implementing process improvements.
+ Skilled in cultivating and maintaining relationships across different functions and at all levels within the organization.
Work Environment
The work environment involves using advanced technologies and tools such as Power BI and Hyperion Essbase. The role requires a high degree of interaction with various departments, promoting a collaborative atmosphere. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting that demands precision and a high level of organization. Business casual attire is appropriate for this position.

This is a Permanent position based out of Albany, Oregon.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
