    Safety Administrator (EHS Specialist)

     

    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

     

    Work Environment: Manufacturing shop floor | Business Casual

    About the Role

    We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Safety Administrator (EHS Specialist) to join our team and champion a culture of safety and compliance. In this role, you’ll be a visible presence on the production floor, ensuring adherence to all Federal, State, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations, while also supporting internal EHS initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Lead and support EHS compliance programs aligned with regulatory standards.

    + Develop and deliver training on RCRA, NESHAP, HAZCOM, Lockout/Tagout, Forklift, Crane, PPE, and more.

    + Conduct environmental monitoring (air quality, stormwater, waste), permitting, and documentation.

    + Perform safety and environmental risk assessments, inspections, and audits; implement corrective actions.

    + Investigate incidents and accidents; collaborate with HR on workers’ compensation cases.

    + Maintain accurate EHS records and ensure readiness for internal and external audits.

    + Partner with site leadership and corporate EHS teams to drive continuous improvement.

    Must-Have Skills

    + OSHA Training & Compliance

    + Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)

    + Safety Inspections

    + Strong knowledge of health & safety procedures

    Nice-to-Have Skills

    + OSHA 30 Certification

    + Experience in manufacturing environments

    + Familiarity with environmental permitting and reporting

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field

    + 4–5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.26/hr.

     

    Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
