Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Demand Planner to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for developing statistical forecast models, supporting demand plan creation, and facilitating the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process. The ideal candidate will analyze demand plans against business and financial objectives, identify gaps, and recommend strategies to improve forecast accuracy and supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
+ Develop statistical forecast models using demand planning tools based on historical order data.
+ Adjust demand plans for promotions, events, new product launches, and product phase-outs.
+ Compare demand forecasts to business and financial plans; identify and resolve gaps through Demand Reviews within the S&OP process.
+ Track and report forecast accuracy; analyze root causes and recommend corrective actions.
+ Provide demand plans to support supply chain planning and maintain customer service levels in the absence of direct sales or category input.
+ Integrate data from sales, finance, and marketing to inform demand planning.
+ Recommend process improvements to enhance customer service and optimize inventory levels.
+ Build demand models that reflect changes in customer and product mix.
+ Adjust consensus plans based on forecast consumption, backlog, and supply constraints.
Required Skills & Experience
+ 3+ years of experience in supply chain, forecasting, or demand planning.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Strong organizational and analytical skills.
+ Experience facilitating cross-functional S&OP processes.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience with demand planning systems such as O9, SAP, or BlueYonder.
+ Sigma certification.
+ Familiarity with Tableau dashboards.
+ Background in retail or highly matrixed organizational environments.
Work Environment
+ Highly collaborative and team-oriented setting.
+ Approximately 30–40% of time spent in meetings.
+ Cross-functional engagement, including coordination with a Canada-specific supply team.
+ Hybrid work model: four days in-office per week.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
