Job Description

A growing team is seeking 2 Installation Technicians and 8 Cable Technicians for projects based in Ames, Des Moines, IA, and surrounding states. Some travel is required, with per diem provided for travel days.

Candidates should have at least 6 months of experience working with low-voltage systems. Those with hands-on training or technical school experience will also be considered.

Technicians will be responsible for:

+ Installing data racks, cabinets, Cat6 and COAX cables, faceplates

+ Testing and labeling cable runs

+ Setting up DirecTV cable boxes, modems, and satellite dishes in individual rooms

+ Assisting in building out server closets for network infrastructure

+ Performing work both inside and outside of school and apartment buildings

+ Occasionally digging trenches and assisting with directional drilling

Technicians will receive direction from project leads and are expected to follow instructions closely.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
