    Position Overview

    We are seeking a sociable, confident, and team-oriented individual to join our outpatient clinic as a Patient Registration Representative. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, grow professionally, and develop valuable skills in the healthcare industry. You will interact daily with nursing staff, physicians, patients, internal administration, EMTs, and firefighters in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Register patients accurately and efficiently

    + Navigate insurance workflows, including alternate processes for uninsured or out-of-state patients

    + Audit accounts to collect insurance details and co-pays

    + Run daily reports and manage self-pay accounts

    + Maintain compliance with internal policies; email communications are monitored

    + Push mobile computer carts and remain on your feet for extended periods, especially in ER settings

    Work Environment

    + Fast-paced and high-volume: Expect a steady flow of patients and constant movement

    + Collaborative: Work closely with a team of 10–11 registrars and various clinical departments

    + Repetitive tasks with diverse patient interactions: Each day brings new challenges and learning opportunities

    Required Skills

    + Patient registration

    + Microsoft Office proficiency

    + Understanding of health insurance processes

    + Strong customer service orientation

    + Ability to work effectively in a team

    + Familiarity with healthcare industry operations

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience in a healthcare setting

    + Ability to maneuver computer carts and work on foot for long periods

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    + Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
