    We are looking for a dynamic **Senior Finance Manager** to **support the new commerce transition** for the entire monthly subscription business portfolio. In this role you will build:

     

    + Deep knowledge in Microsoft commercial licensing in order to effectively translate proposed licensing changes to a financial impact assessment, discuss implications with Business Planning, Engineering, and other product Finance teams, and iterate collaboratively to drive decisions that achieve both business and financial goals.

    + A broad network by collaborating with central finance, sales finance, corporate accounting, and operations teams, leveraging their advanced specialty, and ensuring all feedback requirements are incorporated before executing changes to business policies.

    + Leadership skills by working with a cross-functional community to create clarity while navigate uncertainties, articulate change proposals clearly to finance business executives, and influence and drive decisions.

    + **New Commerce Prioritization** : Serve as business partner for GTM (Go To Market) Strategy Business Planning, helping to prioritize key commerce initiatives to gain alignment with Marketing and Finance Leadership.

    + **New Commerce Financial Analyses** : Partner with GTM Strategy Business Planning to assess the financial impact of licensing and term changes as we transition customers from legacy customer agreements to the Modern Microsoft Customer Agreement (MCA).

    + **Addressable Customer Opportunity** : Utilize commercial data sources to build customer cohort and deal analyses to define the addressable migration opportunity based on feature and offer availability timelines.

    + **Drive the right tone from executive leadership and ensures strict adherence and understanding of Microsoft policies on risk and compliance.** Influences leadership to ensure compliance is a top priority and modeled throughout the organization. Drives a compliant culture through actions and decisions to instill trust. Advocates, educates, and promotes optimal practices and new developments. Encourages asking questions and identifying risks related compliance. Champions Microsoft privacy, security, ethical standards. Advances key compliance initiatives.

    + **Drive AI Adoption Internally:** Continuously search for ways to build better processes and tools and share practices with entire revenue planning team.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications

    + Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field

    + OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field.

    + OR equivalent experience.

    + 2+ years of experience in Microsoft Excel and the ability to synthesize insights from large datasets.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Masters Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance work experience

    + OR equivalent experience.

    + Analytical and critical thinking skills with proven expertise in financial modeling.

    + Ability to synthesize complex data and scenarios into actionable insights and compelling business cases.

    + Detail-oriented with the ability to zoom out and drive big-picture strategy when needed.

    + Self-motivated, adaptable to ambiguity, skilled at prioritization across multiple concurrent workstreams.

    + Confident communicator who tailors messaging to diverse audiences, including leadership.

     

    Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
