Job Summary
DeBra-Kuempel isseekingto fillan Information Technology(IT)Specialistpositionin ourCincinnati,Ohiolocation. The ITSupport Specialistprovides day-to-day supportas neededtolocal and remote satellite offices. The successful candidate for this role is an individual whodemonstratesa high levelof service,commitment,andexecution. The following arerequiredcharacteristics, knowledge, skills, and abilities:
+ Possess exceptional customer service skills, patience, well organized, and a good communicator.
+ Expertise incomputer software, hardware maintenance, and technical support.
+ Experience with repairing, diagnosing, and upgrading PC hardware and basic network troubleshooting.
+ Self-motivated witha highattention to detail.
+ Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to read and interpret communication styles of diverse team members who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
+ Possess an exceptional ability to follow up on assigned projects and HelpDesk tickets
The ITSupport Specialistwilloperateindependently and exercise advanced discretion and judgement with both macro and micro level responsibilities. This is a hands-on role thatincludes;oversite, investigation and resolution of end user support needs, customer service, infrastructure management including securityandnetwork administration.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Key areas ofduties and responsibilities include but are not limited tothese day-to-day IT operations:
+ Provide level 3 ITsupport by accessing highest level of technical resources
+ Implement and manage network security asestablishedby EMCOR policy.
+ Computer, software, printer, & mobile device inventory, setup, andmaintenance
+ Antivirus and patch management and monitoringforcomputeroperating systems.
+ Provide basic Active Directory Users & Computers Support
+ Provide end userhelpdesk support.
+ Provide relevant education and training and create documentation for non-technicalusers.
+ Work remotely and onsite to perform IT projects and upgrades.
+ Perform other duties as assigned byManager of IT
+ Attend regular conference calls with EMCOR IT & Security
+ Ensure compliance with EMCOR IT SOPs
+ Asset Management
+ Coordinate investigations to resolve information system issues
+ Conducts research to understand, explain and resolve technology issues
+ Communicatesupdates to users that have been or may be affected by a problem
+ Followsup with users after problems have been resolved
+ Initiates onboarding procedures fornew usersinto the system
+ Ensures response times are quick and effective to appropriately resolve requests
+ Coordinates referrals to technical,professionalor service personnel depending on the repair, training,serviceor software issue
Qualifications
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
To best meet the needs of our organization and customers, the right person will meet the followingspecifications:
+ Associatedegree in computer science, business, telecommunications or related field OR equivalent experience and training.
+ Eight(8) plus years ofprogressive IT experience, includinghands onexperience with:
+ Microsoft technology such as Windows desktop and server operating systems, Active Directory and Group Policy, O365
+ Security tools such as EDR,Endpoint Protection,BitLocker,etc.
+ Endpoint configuration and vulnerability management tools such as Intune, SCCM, Autopilot, Tanium, etc.
+ Working knowledge of large desktop/laptop deployments including design, engineering and support of the desktop, desktop applications, desktop images, encryption, endpoint security and the associated systems of application delivery and group policies.
