Type: 12-month Contract
Compensation: $37 - $74 hourly

Overview:
We are seeking a Training Coordinator to play a pivotal role in launching innovative training programs within the nuclear industry. In this dynamic position, you will leverage the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT/ADDIE) to ensure training initiatives are compliant, efficient, and impactful. Collaborate with an array of stakeholders, including instructional technologists, training managers, and instructors, you will manage key aspects of training coordination, documentation, and compliance activities while contributing to the professional development of our workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Training Program Management: Oversee the seamless administration and coordination of training programs including scheduling, resource allocation, delivery tracking, and establishing feedback mechanisms.
+ Record Management: Maintain comprehensive training records within VISION and SAP LMS, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and compliance with audit requirements from the outset.
+ Accreditation Leadership: Lead the preparation of initial accreditation documentation for the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) and assist in the ongoing renewal process to maintain our standards of excellence.
+ Job/Task Analysis Maintenance: Ensure job and task analyses are aligned with SAT principles, verifying instructor qualifications and tracking completion of necessary training.
+ Curriculum Development Coordination: Facilitate curriculum reviews, manage classroom and computer-based training (CBT) logistics, and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders involved.
+ Reporting: Produce detailed status reports that include training schedules, participation metrics, no-show rates, and completion statistics to keep all parties informed.
+ Audit Preparedness: Assemble necessary documentation for audits, assist during review processes, and promptly address any findings to uphold compliance standards.
+ Material Development Support: Aid in the creation of engaging training materials and cultivate relationships with external training providers to enhance our offerings.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
+ Bachelor’s degree in education, organizational development, human resources, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in training coordination or administrative roles within regulated industries; prior nuclear industry experience is highly desirable.
+ Proficient in Learning Management Systems (e.g., SAP LMS), VISION, and content development tools (e.g., Articulate 360).
+ Strong understanding of the SAT/ADDIE methodology and nuclear training processes including INPO or NRC accreditation.
+ Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and coordinate efforts among multiple stakeholders.
Work Environment:
This position may require sitting or standing for extended periods, with occasional bending, grasping, and fine motor skills engaged using a keyboard. The role demands minimal physical exertion, with the ability to safely lift up to 25 pounds as needed. Typical working hours exceed 8 hours a day in an office setting, with approximately 15% travel required.
