    Job Summary

    **Job Title:** Project Engineer

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities

    + Develop and maintain project schedules

    + Create and manage design submittals, RFI’s and change orders

    + Work with the Quality Control manager to create, review and edit required quality control documents

    + Manage designers, subcontractors and vendors to ensure required design & installation information (is provided correctly and on-time.

    + Review subcontractor & engineering performance and provide feedback to the Project Manager.

    + Coordinates purchase of necessary supplies, equipment and services from appropriate sources and maintains proper inventory control, maintenance and consumable supplies.

    + Authority to review and approve design submittals to ensure compliance.

    **Job Specifications** (incl. Education requirements, minimal experience, computer skills required, etc.)

    + Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, construction management, business management, or relevant experience.

    + 3+ years working experience in HVAC or building controls.

    + Must have knowledge of submitting written proposals, scopes of work, scheduling and coordinating site contractors and other assigned personnel; a thorough understanding of operations and the ability to meet demanding customer requirements.

    + Must have strong verbal and listening communication skills and excellent telephone etiquette as well as professional friendly demeanor.

    + Proven ability to multi-task and handle a high volume of work with extreme accuracy and adjust to changing priorities.

    + The ability to anticipate needs and solve job related problems independently and act with appropriate urgency.

    + Advanced MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills

    + Must possess valid driver’s license and meet MVR requirements to operate company vehicle.

    **Compensation Range:** $70,000 - $90,000 per year
