    We’re hiring a Quality Technician to support our Telematics Warehouse in Shawnee, KS and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction. EquipmentShare is searching for a Quality Technician to support our Telematics and Embedded Systems Teams. The Quality Technician will focus on audits, analysis of returns, process improvement, issue investigation, and communication.

    Primary Responsibilities

    + Provide quality planning, control, and improvement support for warehouse, manufacturing, and product development teams.

    + Test and analyze electronic components and wiring harnesses for incoming product and warranty returns.

    + Investigate product and process quality related issues.

    + Communicate findings with internal/external team members.

    + Perform quality audits for the warehouse and suppliers.

    Skills & Qualifications

    + Must have meticulous attention to detail.

    + A strong working knowledge of wiring harnesses and electronics (concepts and components) with the ability to read schematics.

    + Excellent communicator (verbally and with the written word)

    + Ability to read and understand a schematic and basic blueprints

    + Willing to work at our operations center in Shawnee, KS.

    Education and Experience

    + At least 1 year experience in quality inspection.

    + Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in technical field preferred.

    + Experience with or working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management (knowledge of AS9100 or IATF16949 is a plus).

    + Experience using and understanding quality inspection tools.

    Physical Requirements

    + Must be able to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

    + Ability to travel for business required (less than 10%).
