Associate Director, Global Resource Management

General Description:
This role is key to ensuring that we are “operationally excellent” in resource planning to estimate appropriate staffing levels that will enable the delivery of the BeOne clinical trial portfolio.
Reporting to the Director of Global Resource Management, this individual is responsible for supporting algorithm development to model future resource demand for various roles within clinical development. The role will also focus on analyzing data and generating insights to continuously improve existing resourcing models. This individual will partner with teams across our organization to ensure alignment of resourcing needs, algorithm logic revisions, and other resourcing related topics. The ideal candidate will have exceptional technical and analytical skills, the ability to manage the needs of many stakeholders, and a focus on continuous improvement.
Essential Functions of the Job:
+ Support algorithm development to model future resource demand for various roles within clinical development
+ Support continuous improvement of resource algorithms to be used in forecasting.
+ Support the creation of innovative dashboards, metrics, and KPIs for measuring forecast accuracy
+ Support and develop data-driven insights and recommendations to improve resource planning
+ Explore how AI can be leveraged within the context of Resource Management
+ Partner with sub-functions across Global Clinical Operations (GCO) as needed to support resourcing needs.
+ Portfolio Resource Demand Reporting: prepare high quality reports and presentations
Supervisory Responsibilities:
+ None
Computer Skills:
+ Strong knowledge of MS Office Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
+ Knowledge of SQL preferred
+ Advanced Excel calculations or experience with other analytical tools
+ Advanced expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI)/
Other Qualifications:
+ 10+ years if experience in clinical development/research operations
+ Fundamental understanding of drug development lifecycle
+ Demonstrated expertise in forecasting and modeling.
Travel:
+ < 5%
Education Required:
+ Bachelor's degree in finance, operations, business, or
+ MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
Significant experience in forecasting, modeling, and analytics within Clinical Development setting (20+ yrs experience would be considered, in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree).
