Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
+ Deliver one-on-one Great Leaps intervention sessions with students for approximately three hours each day at assigned sites.
+ Serve as the primary liaison between PEAK Literacy and the site staff, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
+ Coordinate with volunteers at the site, keeping track of schedules, and managing the flow of student sessions.
+ Monitor attendance and progress for all students served at the site, ensuring fidelity to the Great Leaps program.
+ Report daily updates and feedback to the PEAK Literacy office, highlighting any challenges or successes.
+ Represent PEAK Literacy in a professional and positive manner, fostering strong relationships with staff and families at the site.
+ Afterschool program sites across Alachua County.
+ Mornings, approximately 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. (Monday-Thursday) or
Afternoons, approximately 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Monday through Thursday).
Schedule may vary slightly by site.
Expected Salary:
$15/ hour
Minimum Requirements:
+ Strong communication and organizational skills.
+ Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience working with children or in an educational or community-based setting.
+ Commitment to multiple semesters preferred.
