             National Account Manager (Remote, Salary + Commission) Atlanta, GA 30033 Position: National Accounts Manager (Spares and Service) Salary: 100,000 – 120,00 base + commissions, vehicle stipend + fuel card Travel: 40-50% travel (Domestic, mostly single day trips, however occasional overnight trips may be needed due to timing) Manages Others: No Relocation: Not eligible Education: Bachelor’s degree required. MBA is a plus but not required. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in national account management, preferably supporting Manufacturing and Distribution/Warehousing companies. Client relationship management, or business development in a technical service-based industry with large-scale or national account focus with 18-25M in spend. Experience with spares and service is preferable. Familiarity with customer environments such as automated warehouses, production lines, and utility infrastructure is strongly preferred . Position Summary: Join Adaptec Solutions , a leader in advanced industrial automation and material handling integration , as a National Accounts Manager . This high-impact, remote role is your opportunity to drive strategic growth by serving as the dedicated partner for a portfolio of our most critical national accounts. We are looking for an experienced Account Management professional with a proven track record in supporting existing accounts with a focus on additional services and parts needs . Key Responsibilities: + Serve as the primary point of contact for six national accounts, building and maintaining strong client relationships at all levels. + Develop and execute account strategies to expand revenue and improve profitability year over year. + Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and developing new opportunities; recommending and expanding service opportunities for different types of equipment. + Lead contract / rate sheet and SLA negotiations acting as the primary interface with external clients and internal teams during negotiations. + Systemically evaluate book of business for profitability, appropriate resource allocation and usage, additional areas of opportunity etc. + In partnership with the Director and operations leadership team, create a mid to long term strategic account map + Development and delivery of product presentations for product support and business development + Nurture customers/prospects at events such as conferences, seminars, tradeshows, customer visits, etc. + Ability to convey customer requirements to service operation teams + Identifies product improvements or new opportunities by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors. + Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking best-in-class practices; participating in professional societies Requirements: + Minimum 5 years of experience in national account management preferably supporting Manufacturing and Distribution/Warehousing companies. Client relationship management, or business development in a technical service-based industry with large-scale or national account focus with 18-25M in spend. Experience with spares and service is preferable. + Bachelor’s degree required. MBA is a plus but not required. + Familiarity with customer environments such as automated warehouses, production lines, and utility infrastructure is strongly preferred . + Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to initiate, track, and close relevant deals including service agreements + Proficient use of CRM software (Salesforce.com preferred). + Strong ability to develop and understand pricing strategies. + History of developing and applying KPIs to drive improvements in service delivery and deliver greater customer value. + Strong understanding of business financials as they relate to the national accounts. + Proven success in high-value contract negotiation and renewal management. + Ability to develop and execute growth strategies that balance short-term goals with long-term client partnerships. + Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level. + Demonstrated success in stabilizing accounts and delivering consistent year-over-year revenue growth. In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the wage range for this role is $100,000 – 120000/yr . The rate range provided is a general guideline.
