Job Description:
Internship dates: June** **1** **, 202** **6** **– August** **7** **, 202** **6
Pay rate is $25** **/hour** **for undergraduate student** **(Rising Junior or Senior)
Full-time;** **37.5 hours** **per week
ABA’s Internship provides students with a paid opportunity to work with one of the biggest trade associations in Washington, DC. This extremely selective opportunity provides students with the opportunity to do substantial work in various divisions across ABA, connect with leadership, build a network, and make a difference.
Primary Responsibilities
Participate with our team in investigating the market penetration of a particular segment of the fraud and A** **nti-Money** **L** **aundering** **markets** **.
Produce some external market research on competitors with an eye towards understanding our own share of the market.
Produce a summary with our team** **in** **findings** **scoping out how a particular segment is using our various products and if that** **usage** **translates** **into coming to a particular conference. Which means, understanding the linkages between certified experts, school attendees, online** **certificate** **holders and their behavior once they complete basic skills training** **.
Familiarize themselves with our internal data sources, understand the linkages to help us use our data better for marketing.
Required Skills
Use of excel essential and understanding of how to work with databases to yield data** **is required** **.** **We** **are not able to** **teach marketing data analytics.
A** **n** **ability to learn quickly how to dig into data to create reports.
Must have some interpersonal skills because this requires interaction with multiple people and other interns for the intern project.
Previous** **internships** **not** **required** **.
Ability to report into ABA headquarters** **located** **in Washington, DC, at least two-times per week (** **relocation** **assistance** **or stipend is not included for the intern program). Internship positions are not eligible for healthcare insurance coverage.
Minimum Education Requirements
Major Field of Study:** **College major or related focus on marketing research and analytics** **.
Rising Junior or Senior ($25.00 an hour** **)
Salary Band Range:
$15.00 - $37.50 - $60.00
