We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our Forge Team. This position is ideal for those who enjoy hands-on, physical work in a dynamic industrial environment and are ready to learn a highly skilled trade.
What You’ll Do
As part of the Forge Team, you’ll play an essential role in the production process by:
+ Promoting a safe and healthy work environment by following all safety procedures and providing feedback to improve workplace safety.
+ Locating and verifying materials according to shop orders and visually inspecting them for defects.
+ Transporting materials, forgings, and scrap throughout the production area.
+ Grinding material defects using hand or overhead grinders.
+ Coordinating with Blacksmiths and forge personnel to prepare pre-forging loads.
+ Operating furnaces to maintain forging and thermal cycle schedules in accordance with production manuals.
+ Repairing forge tools using welding and grinding equipment.
+ Removing scrap from press pits, properly sorting it by metal type, and recording weights.
+ Refueling press support equipment, forklifts, and long-reach vehicles.
+ Performing general housekeeping tasks, including cleaning furnaces and work areas.
+ Filling in as a forge crew member when needed to support production.
+ Reporting equipment or production issues promptly to supervisors.
+ Working collaboratively with fellow employee-owners to maintain a strong team environment.
What We’re Looking For
+ Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
+ Basic shop math skills (measurements, metric/decimal conversions, etc.).
+ Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
+ Willingness to learn and perform a wide variety of tasks.
+ Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license.
+ Prior experience in a heavy manufacturing environment is a plus but not required.
+ Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
This position involves working in production areas with operating forklifts, overhead cranes, and related equipment. Employees may be exposed to high temperatures, outdoor weather, wet or humid conditions, loud noise, fumes, airborne particles, or hazardous chemicals. The role requires the ability to bend, crouch, twist, pull, lift up to 65 lbs, and perform overhead work as needed. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
