    We're looking for a Structural Bridge Engineer who's ready to take the next step in their career. In this role, you'll design and analyze bridges and transportation structures that keep communities moving safely and efficiently. You'll work on a variety of projects - from new construction to rehabilitation - and collaborate with talented professionals who are passionate about what they do.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Perform structural design and analysis of bridges, culverts, and related transportation structures.

    + Deliver creative, practical solutions that meet DOT and AASHTO standards.

    + Prepare construction plans and models using OpenBridge Designer and associated software.

    + Prepare technical reports, specifications and cost estimates for transportation structures.

    + Conduct bridge assessments, load ratings, and rehabilitation investigations.

    + Work directly with DOT clients and project teams to meet deadlines and exceed expectations.

    + Coordinate with internal teams, subconsultants, and DOT representatives to ensure project requirements are met.

    + Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) required, Master's degree a plus.

    + Minimum of 5 years of relevant structural bridge design experience.

    + Professional Engineer (PE) license (or ability to obtain quickly).

    + Experience working with NC Department of Transportation standards and processes preferred but not required.

    + Strong knowledge of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications and related codes.

    + Proficiency with structural analysis and design software (OpenBridge Designer , RC Pier, STAAD, , MicroStation or other commercial bridge design software).

    + Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

    + Strong organizational and project management abilities.
