    Summit Design and Engineering Services is seeking a Senior Transportation Design Project Manager to lead and assist in the development of transportation design projects and plans in the Raleigh, NC area.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    + BSCE or BSCET degree with a minimum of 10 years of progressive design experience in all aspects of transportation design; or equivalent level of experience

    + PE license is required

    + Knowledge of and experience with Microstation, Geopack , Corridor Modeling and Open Roads are beneficial.

    + Experience with NCDOT IPD/PDN and other project delivery methods.

    + NC DOT /DOT design experience is preferred.

    + Survey experience and data management is beneficial

    + Strong engineering analysis and judgment

    + Experience in managing and organizing multiple tasks and related disciplines

    + Proactive and self-motivated attitude

    + Excellent writing and verbal communication skills

    + Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project
