Position Summary
An energetic position to provide customer needs in person and on the phone. Use your communication skills to explain warranty options, establish time commitments between technicians and customers, checkout procedures and promotion of products and services.
Pay Range: $15.30 - $22.95
Responsibilities
Summary:
The Management Trainee position provides the opportunity to learn all aspects of store management including customer service, sales and marketing strategies, financial reporting, human resources and inventory control. The trainee will also learn how to effectively lead and develop team members in order to drive results within their store. This role is ideal for those who have previous experience managing people or processes, as well as those looking to gain valuable insight into the automotive industry.
Responsibilities:
• Learn how to manage a team by observing and assisting the store manager and assistant managers.
• Observe and participate in daily operations such as scheduling, payroll, and inventory control.
• Assist in developing and implementing marketing initiatives to increase sales volume.
• Gain knowledge on how to analyze financial reports and use them to make informed decisions.
• Participate in training sessions to learn more about our products and services.
• Work closely with the HR department to understand employee relations issues and how to address them.
• Take part in performance reviews and coaching sessions with employees.
• Assist in resolving customer complaints and providing excellent customer service.
• Help maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• Previous supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and able to take initiative.
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel between stores as needed.
