    HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT:

    The Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for empowering the Oregon Sales Team and channel partners to win. As a liaison to the field in North America, this role develops and promotes channel partner marketing programs and creates sales tools that equip partners and sales teams to drive measurable growth. The Channel Marketing Manager must be exceptional at developing relationships with key customers as well as building consensus and working cross-functionally with the Oregon National Accounts Sales Team, Brand & Product Marketing, Indirect Sourcing, Finance, and other functional areas. In addition, the role will leverage strong channel marketing knowledge combined with insights of channel partners and their customers to develop and influence business strategies and programs.

    THE DETAILS:

    Product Launches and Key Product Initiatives

     

    + Develop integrated marketing plans aligned with business goals in collaboration with the broader marketing team and lead teams to deliver according to plans

    + Collaborate with product management, brand and product marketing on messaging and tactics to ensure relevance and effectiveness for channel

     

    Marketing Programs and Tools

     

    + Create, execute and optimize marketing and merchandising programs that amplify the Oregon brand and product messages via channel partners

    + Manage and optimize co-op program

    + Create and maintain best-in-class channel partner portal and enable channel partner access to marketing assets while maintaining brand safety and stewardship

    + Deliver and maintain field-ready sales tools and collateral

    + Determine and track key metrics and KPIs. Continuously refine and improve performance of programs.

     

    Channel Partner Communications

     

    + Foster sharing of best practices within the Oregon distributor network and provide platforms for feedback from partners to Oregon Tool

    + Work with sales teams to develop and execute timely and clear communications to channel partners

    + Maintain accurate channel partner contact information for direct mail and email

    + Participate in sales and customer meetings as well as trade shows

     

    Budget Management and Team Development

     

    + Manage and track allocated budget dollars and maximize marketing budget

    + Lead and develop Channel Marketing Associate

    QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

    + Bachelor of Science from an accredited institution in related field (business, marketing) or equivalent experience

    + 5 + years of experience working in Marketing or Channel Marketing required

    + Strong project management skills

    + High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    + Manufacturer experience with 2-step distribution channels

    + Design Program Knowledge (preferred): Adobe Creative Suite, Canva

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation, facilitation and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate knowledgeably and fluently with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Creative Services along with a natural ability to relate to customers and prospects

    + Demonstrated solid analytical skills and problem-solving ability and critical thinking skills. Ability to search out relevant information and evaluate for solid evaluation and decision-making

    + Basic knowledge of key business measures--sales, gross margin, etc.

    + Strong attention to detail; strong multi-tasking ability as well as ability to manage deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment

    + Self-motivated individual who strives for excellence and continuous improvement

    + Available to work on site as required by job; There is 10-20% travel (regional and national) associated with this position.

     

    At Oregon Tool, we provide a reasonable, good-faith estimate of the compensation range for this role of $110,000 to $125,000. Final offers are based on various factors such as experience, skills, qualifications and internal equity. This range may vary based on geographic location where the position is filled, and most new hires are not typically hired at the top of the range.
