    Our client is currently seeking a qualified **Field Service Technician** to join their team in Dothan, AL. The ideal candidate must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record and must be comfortable with extensive drive time between assigned locations with company vehicle.

     

    This role requires traveling between 6 or more client stores weekly to perform scheduled maintenance, installations, and technical support tasks.

    Duties and Responsibilities** **:

    + Provide hands-on technical support for store systems, devices, and equipment

    + Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues across multiple locations

    + Install and configure desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals

    + Perform system upgrades, imaging, and basic networking setup as needed

    + Communicate clearly with managers and staff to ensure timely issue resolution

    + Maintain accurate service documentation, reports, and inventory records

    + Ensure compliance with company standards and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times

    Skills and Qualifications** **:

    + Minimum 1 to 3+ years of IT or technical support experience (retail or field service preferred)

    + Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows operating systems, hardware, and software issues

    + Experience supporting peripherals such as printers, POS systems, and mobile devices

    + Excellent communication, time management, and customer service skills

    + Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls daily

    **Wage Range** :

     

    The rate for this position is between **$17.00 - $21.00 per hour.** Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
