Job Description
Make an impact on the next generation of healthcare professionals.
As a** **Residency and Fellowship Program Coordinator** **, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the experience of residents and fellows by supporting every aspect of their training program — from recruitment and onboarding to graduation and beyond. Working independently under the general direction of the Program Manager and Program Director, you’ll combine organization, communication, and leadership to ensure our program runs seamlessly and stays compliant with national accreditation standards.
What You’ll Do:
Serve as the central hub for program operations — coordinating schedules, maintaining records, and supporting residents, fellows, and faculty.
Partner closely with the Program Director to manage the day-to-day and long-term operations of the program, including budgeting and compliance.
Ensure full compliance with ACGME and other accrediting agencies’ standards.
Oversee trainee recruitment, onboarding, and orientation to ensure a smooth start to their journey.
Manage evaluations, contracts, credentialing, and licensing for all program participants.
Maintain and update databases such as** **New Innovations** **and** **ERAS** **to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
Plan and execute key events such as recruitment activities, orientations, graduations, and other program milestones.
Develop and maintain program communications — including websites, newsletters, and marketing materials.
Support accreditation activities, including site visits, annual reviews, and self-studies.
Build strong working relationships across departments and act as a trusted liaison between trainees and hospital leadership.
What You Bring
Minimum Requirements:
Associate’s degree in a related field (health sciences, business, public administration, or education).
2–5 years of experience in a high-level administrative or program coordination role.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills — written and verbal.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, handle sensitive information with discretion, and work independently.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Prior experience as a residency or fellowship program coordinator.
