About the role
The Warehouse Manager will oversee all warehouse functions for the Seattle facility including receiving, storage, staging, and shipping of syrups, sauces, and related materials.
Key responsibilities
Oversee all warehouse functions including receiving, storage, staging, and shipping of syrups, sauces, and related materials.
Ensure FIFO/FEFO inventory practices are followed to maintain product quality and shelf life.
Maintain optimal warehouse layout for liquid and viscous product handling, including drum, tote, and bulk storage.
Food Safety & Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with FDA, FSMA, HACCP, SQF, and other food safety standards.
Maintain proper storage conditions (temperature, humidity, cleanliness) for sensitive ingredients and finished products.
Support traceability and recall readiness through accurate documentation and labeling.
Inventory Management
Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation processes.
Utilize ERP/WMS systems to track inventory movements and generate reports.
Minimize waste and obsolescence through proactive inventory control.
Team Leadership
Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse associates and forklift operators.
Develop and enforce SOPs for warehouse operations and safety.
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and food safety awareness.
Logistics & Coordination
Coordinate inbound deliveries of raw materials and outbound shipments of finished goods.
Work closely with production, quality, and procurement teams to align warehouse activities with manufacturing schedules.
Manage relationships with carriers and third-party logistics providers.
Safety & Maintenance
Enforce OSHA and company safety policies, including proper handling of food-grade containers and cleaning agents.
Ensure equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and drum handling tools are maintained and operated safely.
Qualifications and skills
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (preferred).
5+ years of warehouse management experience in food or beverage manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and warehouse best practices.
Experience with ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Forklift certification and experience with liquid handling equipment (e.g., pumps, totes, drums) preferred.
Working Conditions:
Exposure to warehouse environments including cold storage, ambient, and high-moisture areas.
May require lifting up to 50 lbs and operating material handling equipment.
Flexible schedule including occasional weekends or extended hours during peak production.
The preferred salary range for this position: $107.7 - $147.6 - $181.5 plus outstanding company benefits.
