We are searching for the best talent for Scientist II, Process-Drug Product Development and Delivery in Malvern, PA.
**Purpose:** This role involves supporting the development of innovative Biotherapeutic projects by contributing to the design and execution of experiments, advancing next-generation targeting technologies, and improving standard procedures. The individual will collaborate on preparing technical documentation, mentor junior team members, and uphold Johnson & Johnson’s values in a dynamic research environment. This position offers an opportunity to grow as a developing scientist while making meaningful contributions to cutting-edge biotherapeutic solutions.
You will be responsible for:
+ Acts as a developing individual contributor in the execution of Biotherapeutic projects to support development programs
+ Assists with the design of lead biologic candidates and works to implement next-generation targeting technologies for various Biotherapeutic modalities
+ Independently designs experiments and analyses based on interpretations and integration of emerging literature or other sources
+ Assists in developing recommendations for improving standard procedures
+ Contributes to the preparation and submission of technical reports, patent applications, protocols, and manuscripts, including detailed outcomes and research findings
+ Coaches and mentors junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities
+ Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in daily interactions with the team
Qualifications / Requirements:
**Education:** Minimum of B.S. degree in Science, Engineering and Technical subjects is required.
Skills/Experience:
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical development or related field is required
+ Experience with the development of combination products including autoinjectors, on-body injectors, or other drug delivery devices is preferred.
+ Experience with equipment automation, including incorporation of multiple data streams using data acquisition devices is preferred.
+ Experience with statistical techniques including hypothesis testing, regression and design of experiments is preferred.
+ Experience with computer assisted design (CAD) for the development of fixtures supporting lab studies is preferred.
+ Works under general supervision to contribute to research and/or analytic projects and tasks.
+ Individual contributor that performs more complex assignments and contributes to projects and processes within own area of responsibility.
+ Applies general knowledge and understanding of principles and practices to address problems.
