The Application Specialist is the bridge between technical know-how and customer success. They partner with sales to provide expert guidance, turning complex customer needs into practical, high-value solutions. From crafting precise factory cost estimates to delivering detailed project quotes, this role ensures every proposal hits the mark on performance, quality, and cost. With sharp technical insight and a customer-focused mindset, the Application Specialist drives smarter decisions, faster project wins, and stronger business growth.

What Success Looks Like

+ Drive sales success by preparing detailed specs, cost estimates, concept drawings, and precise quotations.

+ Translate customer requirements into equipment solutions, clearly noting any exceptions to specifications.

+ Build and maintain direct client relationships, delivering timely technical guidance and support.

+ Apply creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills to meet changing client needs.

+ Partner with sales to identify customer requirements across GFS products and product lines.

+ Leverage advanced engineering tools and design software to deliver accurate, efficient solutions.

+ Support strategic department initiatives that fuel business growth and align with corporate goals.

Qualifications That Shine

+ Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field.

+ 3–5 years in construction or manufacturing, with strong understanding of construction documents.

+ Prior sales experience is a plus.

+ Quick learner with the ability to apply technical concepts effectively.

+ High-quality, timely execution of tasks with strong attention to detail.

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

+ Strong technical communication and team collaboration skills.

+ Mechanical aptitude a plus.
