The Program Specialist – Print Operations is responsible for facilitating inter-departmental planning and content aggregation to support the operational readiness of new Print & Ship Services initiatives.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:
+ Attend and actively participate in program planning meetings with business owners to identify process gaps, influence and document process/ execution details to build detailed procedures and communications
+ Collaborate with store teams, both virtually and in-person, to document procedures and gather qualitative feedback.
+ Create detailed procedure documentation to identify potential gaps in program execution and inform decisions on how to simplify/optimize
+ Maintain project pipeline schedule to provide accurate visibility into field launches for purposes of workload and communication planning
+ Maintain active pilot tracking documentation, including relevant store attribute characteristics.
+ Develop reporting related to tracking execution and compliance for new programs and existing company initiatives
+ Primary point of contact to vet services’ systems and program enhancements prior to deployment
+ Actively identify opportunities to simplify existing procedures and/or programs by effectively blending qualitative associate feedback and quantitative analytics
+ Partner with cross-functional teams on the development and refinement of new program pilots, i.e.: selling & engagement, marketing, learning & development
+ Partner with internal issue and escalation teams to identify and document trends to inform steps to refine programs currently live in stores
+ Serve as point of contact for business partners to validate operational details and assist with the written content for weekly communications
+ Assist in the functions of Senior Manager – Print Operations, as necessary
Essential skills and qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree and/or related work experience
+ Understanding of Staples US Retail Operations
+ Knowledge of MS Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
+ Knowledge of Staples systems, including Solution Builder, FlightDeck, Medallia, AS400 (preferred)
+ Strong project management skills
+ Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Ability to communicate at all levels within the organization both in the field and home office
+ Detail-oriented and able to develop work plans while managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
