Position Summary:

The Customer Service Representative performs a variety of routine and specialized functions involving customer service, contract administration, computerized report generations, and files and database maintenance. Prepares sales, management and administrative correspondence. Provides interface between the laboratory and the Corporate Office for administrative tasks.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Reviews purchase order records/contract review.

2. Matches packing slips to the proper purchase orders and equipment for receiving as well as lab transfer receiving.

3. Enters data, updates and completes work orders.

4. Sets-up and maintains customer records (creates new C# if needed) and updates profiles as needed.

5. Emails customers.

6. Prepares contract reports, as required to obtain additional funding and or per customer request.

7. Maintains capital equipment files.

8. Updates equipment lists and other associated reports (equipment moves from one account to another, equipment ID# merges, etc)

9. Trains part-time and other clerical employees, as required.

10. Composes and types memos, reports and other correspondences.

11. Answers the telephone and directs calls to the appropriate person.

12. Orders parts as required and maintain records, reconcile and prepare for payment.

13. Notify contract customers in advance of contract expirations in order to get the equipment list updated and quotations prepared so there is no lapse in contract coverage or revenue.

14. Contact customers with quotations, equipment status and approvals.

15. Is familiar with Tektronix quality management system.

16. Create VSR requests in the VSR system to send equipment to an outside vendor for service.

17. Billing – Contract & depot by (lj)

18. Billing – Onsite by (tw) Prices out work orders.

19. Maintain Contract POs

20. Order Service Center supplies (shipping & office)

21. Fill out PO requisition on the purchase system for vendors who do not accept credit cards.

22. Support Satellite locations (parts orders, supplies, outsourcing equipment, etc)

23. Attend conference calls as required.

Experience/Qualifications:

High School Diploma/computer skill( word, Excel, typing, emailing)/social Skills( able to communicate well with others).

Pay Range

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 35,700.00 - 66,300.00
