Your Impact
As a Test Engineer with test automation experience, you will play a key role in designing and implementing experiments, performing appropriate data analysis, and reporting and documenting the test findings in support of new product development, reliability and quality improvements to existing products, functional validation of products, and cost savings initiatives. You will work in coordination with design engineering under the direction of project management.
Testing will include electrical, software, mechanical, environmental, chemical detection, and software using a wide array of equipment, software, and techniques. You will also coordinate regulatory and compliance testing through third part laboratories such as UL, CSA, TUV, etc. You will be expected to convey feedback that will help drive development, implementation, and invention to provide robust systems.
_Here’s where you’ll demonstrate your proficiencies:_
+ Design, develop, execute, and document formal test plans and procedures using test automation tools.
+ Setting up and using test equipment in environment for adequate testing, including scopes, multimeters, signal, function generators temperature chambers etc.
+ Lead Root Cause Corrective Action investigations, track corrective actions, and record in the defect tracking database, JIRA.
+ Automate majority of the test plans.
+ Verify that all acceptance criteria are met per product specification.
+ Analyze issues and identify alternative solutions or workarounds.
+ Make sure all the features, issues and tests are documented in compliance with our internal processes.
Skills & Experience
_The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:_
+ BA or BS degree in science, technology, or engineering.
+ Strong Test Automation experience with testing hardware, firmware, and software.
+ Experience designing and qualifying test fixtures during development phase and using scripting languages (Python or similar).
+ Experience with test instrumentation (i.e., temperature, flow, pressure, low voltage analog, function generators, scopes).
_Preferred Skills:_
+ Knowledge in fundamentals of transformer monitoring technology – temperature, flow, pressure monitoring.
+ Knowledge of Agile and Scrum framework.
+ Experience in product development for Utilities and industrial customers
+ Hands on development of prototypes

Pay Range
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 65,100.00 - 120,900.00
