Job Summary:

As a Supply Chain Technician, you will ensure the right supplies and equipment are available when needed for the patient care team. By optimizing supply chain processes, you contribute to improved operational efficiency, reduced costs, and better patient outcomes.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

+ Orders, delivers and stocks supplies for assigned departments as scheduled, maintainingproper par levels and storage space on shelves. Accountable for reporting to supervisionneeded adjustments to inventory and par levels according to utilization.

+ Responsible for checking expiration dates, stock rotation and removal of excess inventory inmanaged inventory locations.

+ Promotes teamwork and collaboration with co-workers, customers, and leadership toproblem-solve and promote innovative solutions to provide the right product at the righttime at the right place.

+ Processes and delivers supply and equipment requests. Uses good judgment in responding torequests for specific patient items and determines the best method and timing of delivery,i.e., routine vs. stat.

+ Unloads, inspects, and checks material and supplies arriving at the dock, noting specialstorage, or handling instructions. Maintains appropriate documentation for tracked items,i.e., tissue.

+ Handles all facets of outbound shipments in a cost-effective manner, documenting applicableRGA and tracking information, while ensuring that all shipments are timely as required byour customer.

+ As directed, enters patient charges and orders/documents using appropriate vendorwebstes as applicable. Demonstrates the supply chain supporting behaviors ofaccountability, collaboration, reliability, dedication, and integrity. Follows establisheddepartmental policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance programs and safetystandards.

+ Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

+ ​High school diploma or equivalent

+ Must have effective interpersonal, oral, and/or written communication skills.

+ Must be ableto understand directions, communicate, and respond to inquiries.

+ Must have ability to workindependently and think critically to problem solve.

+ Must have knowledge of Windows-basedcomputer programs and the capacity for learning specialized software programs.

+ Previous experience in materials management
