    What you’ll be doing as a Staff Accountant:

    Under general direction, but with individual responsibility, performs any and all accounting tasks in one or more functions within the Accounting Department\. Verifies accuracy and investigates all questionable charges to accounts\. Interfaces with various levels of management through account analysis and interpretation to explain the accounting aspects of transactions\.

     

    Directs and assists lower classified accounting employees as required\.

    Qualifications

    What you need to be successful:

    College degree in accounting plus five years of industrial accounting experience\.

     

    Or

     

    Eight years of industrial accounting experience plus six college accounting courses\.
