The Team
Interns at Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines & Horizon Air join teams throughout different departments and work on visible projects that impact our guests and business. Beyond hands-on experience, interns also get the opportunity to network with fellow employees and company leaders through various intern events and programming. This internship is for summer 2026. Our internships are full-time for 12 weeks, and we offer two program timelines to align with different academic calendars.
This internship will be located in SeaTac, WA. If not already in the internship city, candidates will be required to relocate for the duration of the internship.

Key Duties
+ Support the Crew Planning Administration, Hotel Group and Crew Staffing as they forecast future crew needs that will drive Alaska’s growth.
+ Analyze the airline’s flight schedule for its impact on our crew’s schedules and identify ways to increase schedule quality and efficiency.
+ Support airline integration through learning to write and test processes and automation.
+ May be asked to aid in developing reports, creating data visualizations, and presenting findings.
Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills
Required
+ Enrolled in a quantitative-oriented degree program.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office software suite, particularly Excel.
+ Organized, extremely attentive to detail and safety conscious.
+ Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
+ Ability to adapt and learn new technology.
+ Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and have at least one semester or quarter of school remaining after the internship.
+ Must have achieved a junior or higher academic standing at the time of application.
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Minimum age of 18.
+ Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred
+ Experience with data analytics and associated technical skills (SQL, Python, R, visualization applications, etc).
+ Excellent presentation and communication skills (e.g., listening, written and verbal).

Starting Rate
USD $25.00/Hr.
Total Rewards
